Pokhara Sub-Metropolitan City :

(Nepali: पोखरा उपमहानगरपालिका Pokhara Up-Mahanagarpalika)
is a city of close to 200,000 inhabitants in central Nepal located at 28.25 N, 83.99 E, 198 km west of Kathmandu.

It is the third largest city of Nepal after Kathmandu and Biratnagar. It is the Headquarters of Kaski District, Gandaki Zone and the Western Development Region. It is also one of the most popular tourist destinations of the country.
To the east of Pokhara is the municipality of Lekhnath, another town in the valley.

Kathmandu :

(Nepali: काठमांडौ, Nepal Bhasa: येँ)is the capital and the largest metropolitan city of Nepal. The city is situated in Kathmandu Valley that also contains two other cities - Patan and Bhaktapur. Nepali is the lingua franca of the valley and is the most widely spoken language.

Nepal Bhasa/Newari is the language spoken by native people, the Newars. English is understood by most of the educated population of the city. The city stands at an elevation of approximately 1400 m and is inhabited by about 700,000 people.

Dharan :

(Nepali: धरान) is a major city in eastern Nepal, in the Sunsari District, situated on foothills of Himalayas with southern tip touching the edge of the Terai at an altitude of 1148 ft (349m). It serves as a trading post between the hilly region and the plains of Terai region.

It was once the location of a British Gurkha recruitment center, opened in 1953. The recruitment center is closed and the campus is now the home of B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences since 1993.

Daman :

(Nepali : दामन) It is a village in the central part of Nepal, located in the district of Makwanpur. It is halfway between Kathmandu and Hetauda at 2320m. It has an unrestricted view of the Himalayas range stretching before it.

The Everest Panorama Resort there has a helipad.It has some of the most fantastic views of the Himalaya views of the Himalayas. It has a great view of the mountains from Dhaulagiri to Mt Everest. Daman is halfway between Kathmandu and Hetauda at 2320m. It is definitely worth visiting.

Syanboche :

(Nepali : स्यन्बोचे )The Everest region is located in the northeast of Nepal. The most visited part of this region is Solukhumbu district, home of the legendary sherpas and the highest peak of the world, the Mt. Everest at 8848 meters.

To the north of solukhumbu is Everest National Park, while to the east is the Makalu Barun National Park. Among many sherpa villages Namche Bazar is well known as the gate way to Mt. Everest. Popular treking areas in Everest region are Everest Base Camp, Gokyo Valley trek, Lukla, Everest panorama trek.

Bandipur :

(Devanagiri बन्दीपुर) is a hilltop settlement in Tanahu District, (Gandaki Zone) of Nepal. Because of its preserved, old time cultural atmosphere, Bandipur has increasingly been coming to the attention of tourism.

At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 9952 people residing in 1929 individual households.Bandipur is located at 27.56 N, 84.25 E and an elevation of 1030m on a mountain saddle (Mahabharat range) approximately 700m above the Marsyangdi River Valley, 143 km to the west of Kathmandu and 80 km to the east of Pokhara.
